1. Overview
SoundboardMax respects the intellectual property rights of others and asks users to do the same. In line with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we respond promptly to valid copyright infringement claims.
2. Filing a DMCA Notice
If you believe your copyrighted work appears on our site without authorization, send a notice including:
- A physical or electronic signature of the rights holder or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- The URL or location of the allegedly infringing material
- Your contact details (address, phone, email)
- A good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and you're authorized to act for the rights holder

4. Our Response to DMCA Notices
On receiving a valid notice, we will:
- Remove or disable access to the material
- Notify the user who posted it
- Terminate repeat infringers where appropriate
- Respond to the rights holder within a reasonable time
5. Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake, you may file a counter-notice including:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe it was removed in error
- Your name, address, and phone number
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court
6. Repeat Infringers
We terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Repeat offenders may be permanently banned.
7. Fair Use
Some uses of copyrighted material may qualify as fair use. We encourage rights holders to consider this before submitting a notice.
8. False Claims
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can create liability for damages. Please don't file false claims.
